Delilah is delightful. A very young married couple experience hilarious trials due to the wife's good intentions and determinined acts to help her husband. Along the way lessons were learned and understanding was needed. When Kay spread her kindness and love to others, someone suffered (most of the time it was her husband, Saint Danny). The book is filled with honest thoughts and laughter. Continuing to the present day, Kay still tries her best to help(?) Danny. Guess he is immune, by now, to Love Bug stings. I highly recommend this very funny account of a married couple's life told in a bold, vivid way that makes you feel as though you are peeping through their windows. Kudos to Kay for writing about her random acts of kindness and to Danny for hanging in there.Product details

A learning experience, yes!! They grew up together, laughed together and learned together!! The writer's descriptions were so detailed, I could visibly see each 'laughing experience' in my mind!! Although at the time, I know they didn't think some of the times were funny, I have no doubt that the couple can look back, remember and burst into laughter!! Thank you for making me smile! Awesome read!!
This collection of stories is humorous and fun. You may think some of it is unbelievable, but even though it may be embellished a bit, I know these stories are based on truth because my husband has also done a couple of these things himself! I especially enjoyed the chapter about the grill, "Bang, bang!", and laughed out loud once I found what she was doing. Delilah has a way of combining individual tales into a cohesive story line. I am looking forward to reading some more of her work.
This book is simply amazing! Everyone will enjoy reading every word. I can't wait for more! Delilah is a brilliant writer and such an amazing person!

It is a book of anecdotes. Most are mildly amusing, in sort of an Erma Bombeck way, but much less amusing than Erma.
Erma had an editor, this person did not. The misspellings, misuse of words, and poor grammar was very difficult.
In short, I want the hour of my life back.
This is a great book. If you want to laugh, and have a smile on your face, you'll want it too. It's VERY hard to put down once you start reading it. Can't wait to see more from this author.
This is a must read. It will keep you laughing until the end. I will definitely order other books by this author.
This is a darling book. It is a sort of memoir about a young woman who is newly married. It's honest and cute and very funny. It isn't slick or the work of some fancy author, but it is darling. What it mostly puts me in the mind of is "I Love Lucy".. cute funny and sweet episodes. A long suffering husband who loves his funny wife...
